Andy is a native North Carolinian from Whiteville in the southeastern part of the state. He is a member of Mt. Vernon Lodge #143 AF & AM. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, antiquing, knife-collecting, and listening to music.
Andy graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, with a BA in Religion, and from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, with a Master of Divinity. He obtained his real estate salesperson's license in 1996 and his broker's license in 1997. In 2009, he attended Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in High Point and obtained his auctioneer's license. He is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute and holds the GRI designation. He also holds the Strategic Pricing Specialist and Certified Probate Real Estate designations.
After a short career with the NC Electric Cooperatives, Andy completed his higher education and became the pastor of a small Baptist church in Moncure, NC, a small town in Chatham County. He left the full-time pastorate to pursue a career in real estate in 1996. In 2004, Andy and his family left their home in Chatham County to move back to southeastern North Carolina to continue their real estate business and to care for Andy's aging Mom. During that process, he became interested in helping other people who might be in a similar situation with their inherited or probate real estate. In 2014, they decided to move back to "God's country" and now reside in the Chatham County, NC, community of Goldston.
A member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors as well as the Longleaf Pine Association of Realtors, Andy's primary responsibility with the Andrews Team within Realty World Carolina Properties is to meet with potential buyers and explore their real estate needs as well as showing buyers land and homes.
Andy is a regular guy, and he understands that the selling and buying process can be a little stressful. Give him a call today for professional and dependable real estate service.
